Methods:

Atomic Force Microscopy in liquid.

We use both Veeco's Nanoscope V and JPK's NanoWizard atomic force microscopes.

Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM)

In our research, we use impedance based quartz crystal microbalance, or IQCM, from Resonant Probes GmbH, and flow-cells from the Q-sense E4 instrument.
